Booking Deposit
A registration fee is required to make the reservation firm. For stays of more than 3 months, the registration fee is €380 and is non-refundable. For stays of 1–2 months, registration is free, while for stays of 2–3 months, the registration fee is €180.
Security Deposit
For stays of 1–3 months, the security deposit is €260. For stays of more than 3 months, the security deposit is €952. The security deposit is returned when the stay ends on the agreed date, subject to room inspection and deductions for any damage and final cleaning. It does not cover the rent for the final month.
Pay In Instalment
Monthly payments are due in advance during the first five days of each month. For a full academic-year reservation, the September payment is charged pro rata from the arrival date together with the June monthly payment. The remaining months are payable in full, including during public holidays or extended absences. July is reserved separately and paid by day. For short stays of more than three months, the first month's payment must also include the final month's payment.
Mode Of Payment
Monthly payments are normally made by direct debit. Bank transfer is accepted, with the applicant responsible for the transfer fees. Payments must be made for the exact amount, and transfer costs are payable by the applicant.
Guarantor Requirement
No guarantor is required. The student must submit their own required documentation instead: Copy of passport. Spanish bank account details. University admission and payment proof for the current year. Personal interview. Photograph. Previous academic records. International health insurance.
Additional Fees
A €10 late payment fee applies where payment is made during the additional five-day period following a missed payment deadline. Final cleaning is charged at the end of the stay and deducted from the security deposit. A €100 penalty applies if a half-board or full-board package is cancelled or reduced during the stay.
